We knew of Francois Labet’s wine from his village Beaune, so we were absolutely thrilled with this – not heavy, but richer and more complex than its village equivalent, with layers of sweet red fruit especially cherry, and a hint of spice, with a long finish. “Very successful in a sunny style,” observes Jasper  Morris of Inside Burgundy.
