Our aim is to keep this evening simple but delightfully indulgent;

–  Perfect comfort food
–  A roaring fire
–  Beautiful wines selected with a flirtatious glint in the eye
– We may even start up the old wind up gramophone (yes, we have one with lots of old 78’s!!!!)

It is an evening of gracious simplicity and warm relaxation: we are keeping the menu easy and homely – one of our legendary soups, followed by Coruisk House shepherd’s pie – featuring rich lamb, hogget and mutton from our Skye crofters, to say nothing of our home-cured lamb pancetta – and followed by whisky pain perdu with caramelized apple and banoffee pie with home-made ice cream!

And the wines to taste are excellent, (Rathfinny sparkling rosé, Tardieu-Laurent Tavel rosé, and the rich Italian red “Soraie” from Cecilia Beretta in the Amarone style) but to keep the evening easy and approachable (especially for those who have to drive!) we are making life a little easier – the wine tasting “flight” is completely optional and guests can pick and choose what to have or be brave and go for one of Andy’s non-alcoholic cocktails! And our usual wine list will be available for those who want to branch out on their own!
